The By Laws of "Poems Under the Dome" or "poemdome"
"poemdome" exists to advance the poetry, in writing and
performance by creating a show at the City Hall of San Francisco.
Poems under the Dome or poemdome maintains an
anarcho-syndicalist organizational structure in which decisions
are taken in consultation, collectively or individually in the
interests of promoting the cause of poetry performance at an
event in San Francisco City Hall, every National Poetry Month,
for as long as they'll have us.
To that end there will be three coordinators with differing and
overlapping responsibilities and authority.
The strategic coordinator is the lead host of the show, principle
mouthpiece and responsible for the general direction of the
show and the effort surrounding it.
The operational coordinator is primarily tasked with the creation
of documents, the web site, maintaining the continuity and flow of
events and the assignation of volunteer responsibilities.
There is also a finance director who will manage the bank
account and money collection.
As of a meeting on April 4, 2008, these by laws are approved by
acclamation, with the role of strategic coordinator held by
(Diamond) Dave Whitaker, operational coordinator is Charles
(Charlie) Getter, and finance director Jonathan Siegel.
This being the only item in this meetings minutes... this meeting
is concluded.
